It turns out that John Scalzi (see previous post), in addition to his novel-writing skills, puts out a very interesting blog, as well. The blog, called Whatever, has the tag line “Taunting the Tauntable since 1998.”
Here is a quote from a post that touches on such topics as porn, hating the internet, and airplane glue. Is he serious; is he kidding? It doesn’t matter; it’s all very entertaining:
“I thought it was a new article; it’s actually four years old. Now, this saved me from getting all screedy about her assertion that ‘today, real naked women are just bad porn,’ but I wished I’d known that before I got all sputtery about the various stupidities in the article. It would have saved me valuable sputtering time. I prefer to conserve my sputtering for contemporary stupidity.”
