According to Kyria Abrahams, the reality tv show, Survivor, is a “bubbling fix and the universal remote is a rusty syringe.” She gives her opinion on our addiction to tv in general and Survivor in particular. Here is an excerpt from her post:
“I have never been addicted to any one particular show. I think this has a lot to do with television characters being made of pixilated light as opposed to, say, cartilage. When given the choice between a tangible friend and one that disappears in a blue flash when a car hits a pole on my street, I tend to gravitate towards the real.”
